温岭市物流中心项目位于温岭市大溪镇甬台温高速大溪道口北侧，104国道西侧，该地交通便捷，位置重要，是理想的物流中心。温岭地处浙江省东南沿海，台州市南冀，北接台州市路桥区，西与温州的乐清相邻，市域三面濒海，海岸线长达317公里，陆地总面积925.8平方公里。2008年，温岭实现生产总值(GDP)70亿美元。规模上工业企业1725家，总产值达93亿美元，年产值超亿元企业 119家，初步形成摩托车及汽摩配件、水泵及电机、鞋帽皮塑、家用炊具及金属制品、中小船舶修造、建筑建材等主要产业群。全市各类贸易市场 125个，成交额达49亿美元。市内几家较为大型的超市——农工商、人本、三和、世纪联华、乐购、农贸市场等均以公路运输为载体，内部无连锁配送网络，但配载空间在40%左右，迫切需要物流配送和建立配送网络。
The total investment for this project is about 51.47 million US dollars. It is planed to cover an area of 546 mu (1mu=1/15 hectare). In the first phase, a total of 297 mu construction land is available, including 274 mu of net land for construction and 23 mu reserved for road construction and river course. In the second phase, a total of 248 mu construction land is available.
Wenling Logistic Center is located to the north of Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway Daxi Road junction, Daxi Town, Wenling and to the west of No. 104 National Highway, thus it enjoys convenient transport and important location and therefore is an ideal place for logistic center. Wenling, a coastal city in southeast Zhejiang, lies in the southern part of Taizhou, meets Luqiao District in Taizhou in the north and neighbors Yueqing in Wenzhou. Its urban area faces the face on three sides and its coastline totals 317 kilometers. It covers and total area of 925.8 square kilometers. In 2008, Wenling realized a GDP of 7 billion US dollars. It had 1,725 industrial enterprises over designated size and their total production value amounted to 9.3 billion US dollars. 119 of these enterprises had a yearly production value over 100 million US dollars. Major industrial groups such as motorcycle & vehicle and motorcycle fittings, water pump & electrical machinery, footwear, caps, leather and plastics, household cookers and metalwork are beginning to take shape. There are 125 special trade markets in Wenling and their sales volume is up to 4.9 billion US dollars. The major large supermarkets in Wenling, including Nonggongshang, Renben, Sanhe, Century Mart, Tesco and Agricultural Products Market, all take on-land transportation as their carrier and have no distribution network of their own. Their distribution margin is about 40%. Therefore, there is an urgent need for logistic distribution and the establishment of delivery network.
