The total investment of this project is 52.94 million US dollars and the investment reclaim period is 8 years. A Furniture and Bathroom Ware Exhibition Center and International Commodities Purchase Center will be built to demonstrate famous Taizhou products and sell world-reputed products. This Center is located at the southeastern corner of Nanshan Street-Huancheng Road (N.) crossing. It covers an area of 137 mu (1mu=1/15 hectare) and the construction area is 120,000 square meters.
The yearly production value of water-heating installations and bathroom wares is over 3 billion US dollars, including a 400 million US dollars production value achieved by new construction material industry enterprises over designated size in Luqiao. The major products of Luqiao construction material industry include water hydrants, water channel fittings, shower cabins, sanitary wares, and others, with new construction materials like water-heating installations and bathroom wares accounting for 80% of the industry. Yuhuan, as the largest furniture exporting base in Taizhou, takes “the construction of Chinese classic furniture exporting base” as the goal for its future development. Meanwhile, Luqiao District, where this Project locates, is the business area of Taizhou and businesses flourish in this district. At present, there are 72 special markets in this district, including 28 consumer goods markets and 42 subsistence goods markets. Powerful bathroom ware and furniture manufacturers rally to provide forceful industrial support for the Ceramic, Bathroom Ware and Furniture Exhibition and Distribution Center.
