With a budgeted investment of USD 64.3 million, the tourism development of Kuocang Mountain Scenic Area will receive an annual income of USD 10 million and an annual profit of USD 5.7 million after the completion of project, and the investment return period is estimated to be 10 years with a return rate up to 89%. As an important part of Kuocang Mountain tourism resource, Cangshan Province-grade Tourist Area, located in the west of Linhai City with a distance of 20km to the urban area, covers a developable area of approximately 50 km2. Kuocang Mountain Scenic Area is a tourist area of provincial grade which provides the sightseeing, recreation, surfing, mountain climbing, vacationing, folk custom, etc. The construction includes the paraglider base, science popularization laboratory educational base, hippodrome, Kuocang Yunding Hotel and continued construction of Jiutaigou Scenic Area.
