The total investment in the project is 4.5 million US dollars. The project will make use of the present factory buildings. There is no need to demolish or construct buildings or increase new facilities. The annual income will increase 50 million yuan. The yearly gross profit will be 7 million yuan. The financial internal rate of return after taxation will be 18%. The investment recovery period including construction period and post-taxation will be 5 years. The rate of return on sales will reach 10.4%. The financial benefit will relatively good.
Seats are an important component part for cars. The development of the car industry will focus on sedans and their component parts. According to the prediction by China Auto Technology Research Center (under WTO) and China Auto Policy Study Office (under APEC), 2010 China’s auto output is expected to exceed 7.5 million and that of 2020 will reach 12.5 million as expected. China will become the second largest auto producer, next to the United States. Therefore, auto component parts will be in great demand. At present, the domestic-made autos adopt mono-lock and slide-tracks, which are not safe or convenient. The enterprise has developed and manufactured dual-lock zero-clearance sedan seats, which are very popular on the market. The company’s total assets are 12.85 million US dollars, whose land coverage is 4,000 mu (1 hectare = 15 mu) with a factory construction area of 266 mu. The annual output for car seats is 150,000 sets and the yearly output for motorcycle saddles is 2 million. The annual value of production is around 100 million yuan
