随着汽车产业链全球化进程的加快，汽车行业的专业化，模块化已成为发展趋势。由于廉价的劳动力成本、巨大的市场潜力，对跨国汽车零部件集团来说，具有强大的吸引力。目前，据有关部门统计，已有26家已经进入中国市场。预计到2010年，我国本土汽车零部件需求将高达2500亿美元。近两年国内汽车业已呈现出“井喷式”的发展现象，中国汽车市场无论在市场规模，还是在增长速度方面均拥有巨大的潜力，中国汽车工业发展存在着十分巨大的空间。预计今后的10年，国际市场需求量增幅在2％以上，国内增幅在10％以上，市场前景十分广阔。
二、项目准备或进展情况
项目园区所需的500土地已经完成审批工作，新增年产100万台变速器和2500万套（个）摩托车齿轮项目土地预审及规划选址已经完成，目前正在进行桩基处理工程。
三、项目建设规模和内容
项目总投资1亿美元。形成年产汽车变速器100万台和2500万（套）齿轮产品的工业园区。同时集聚两大产业区必须的几个关键工序链企业，如锻造、镁铝合金压铸、塑料制品、曲轴连杆制造等企业，并配置相关的三产服务业。工业园建成后，可实现年销售总额为4.5亿美元，税利4300万美元，出口4000万美元。

I. Project background and construction conditions
The specialization and modularization of automobile industry have become the trend, with the acceleration of the globalization of the automobile industrial chain. Low labor cost and huge market potential have formed powerful attraction to transnational groups of automobile spare parts. At present, statistics from concerned department shows that 26 of them have got in the market in China. It’s estimated that by 2010, the domestic demand for automobile spare parts will be as high as USD250 billion. Native automobile industry has been developing in a blowout way in the past two years. The automobile market in China is displaying its great potential both in market scale and increasing speed. There is large development space for the automobile industry of China. It’s estimated that in the next decade, the increasing rate of the international market demand will be above 2%, and that of the domestic market demand will be above 10%, presenting a very promising market prospect.
II. Project preparations and progress
Approval of the needed 500mu land is acquired, and land pre-examination and location plan of an annual increase of 1 million transmissions and 25 million sets (pieces) of motorcycle gears is finished. At present, the groundwork treatment project is being conducted.
III. Project construction scale and content
The total investment of the project is USD100 million. An industrial park with an annual output of 1 million automobile transmissions and 25 million (sets) gear products will be established. With an investment of USD0.1 billion, the project will establish an industrial park with an annual output of 1 million automobile transmissions and 25 million (sets) gear products. Also gather here are several key enterprises of the key links connecting the two industries, such as forging, magnalium alloy die-casting and plastic products as well as crankshaft connecting rods. Related tertiary industry will also be settled to provide necessary service. After the establishment of the industrial park, an annual sales income of USD0.45 billion will be realized with a tax profit of USD43 million and an export value of USD40 million.

Zomax Group Co., Ltd was founded in 1985, the products of which now cover automobile transmissions, automobile and motorcycle gears, automobile spare parts, gardening machines, real estate, international trade and so on. The group has 2 branch companies and 5 subsidy companies. The products have managed to get into markets in the Middle East, Western Europe, Southeast Asia and America, including more than 30 countries and regions. At present, an all out effort is being made in the construction of Zomax Industrial Famous Garden at Wenling (Shangma), to form the development pattern of “Changjiang Delta” with Shanghai as the window, Zhejiang and Jiangsu as the pair of wings. The headquarters economic mode will be implemented to strengthen the management over all cooperative enterprises through unified export of culture, brand and capital, heading for the path of collectivization development.
With the development of over 20 years, the company has become one of the top 10 enterprises in Wenling, a leading enterprise of the industry in Taizhou, “Three Superiors” Enterprise of Zhejiang and “AAA” Credit Enterprise of Zhejiang.
